The Peninsula Schools Education Foundation, incorporated in October 1995, is an independent, non-profit community organization under IRS code section 501 ( c ) (3 ). A volunteer Board of Directors, made up of community members governs the Foundation, each bringing with them a diverse background. Board members serve a three-year term and meet every month throughout the year. Each of the five school board districts is represented on the Board. Twenty five percent of the funds raised are invested and placed in an Endowment fund.
