Dr. Ed Worthen

Dr. Edward M. Worthen attended Washington State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree at Pacific University in Oregon. He received his Doctor of Optometry in 1979 from the College of Optometry at Pacific University. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Contact Lens Section of the AOA. He is a past president of the Pierce County Society of Optometric Physcicans.  Dr. Worthen has been practicing optometry in Gig Harbor for over 30 years.

Dr. Worthen has been involved in VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity) for many years. He has performed eye exams and provided glasses for thousands of needy people around the world.  He has been involved with the Gig Harbor Rotary club and the Peninsula School District for many years.

He lives in Gig Harbor with his wife, Connie, and has two children, Diana and David.
