Scholarships

 In 2008, the PSEF began to recognize graduating seniors whose goal was to pursue a career in education, specifically in elementary, middle school, and high school.  The PSEF works closely with the Gig Harbor Tides Scholarship Foundation and the Peninsula Hawks Scholarship Committee at the high schools.  Using the scholarship portfolios prepared by participating seniors, our criteria is two fold.  We look at students who want to pursue a career in education and students who have contributed to their local school community.  The amount of the scholarship varies year to year based on the success of our yearly fall breakfast.  In order to be considered for a PSEF scholarship, students must submit a scholarship notebook through their scholarship foundation at their respective schools.
